Golden Trumpet Award
May 2010 - The Orbit redesign of the Kemper Sports website has won a 2010 Golden Trumpet Award from the Publicity Club of Chicago. The new site "produced a showcase of its expertise within the golf course management industry and created opportunity to capture leads."

Brill Street Generation Y 50
September 2009 - Orbit was named the 26th best company for Generation Y employees. We were hoping to be number one but competition was fierce. But it's an honor to be on the same list as Google and The Field Museum. Read more about how Orbit won the Brill Street Gen Y 50 Award.
Silver Trumpet Award
April 2009 - Orbit teamed up with the creative team at Rogue Element to produce the "Bringing Our History to Life" interactive timeline for The Society of Actuaries. This piece won a 2009 Silver Trumpet Award from the Publicity Club of Chicago.
Communicator Awards
June 2008 - In conjunction with the International Academy of the Visual Arts, the Communicator Awardshonor creative excellence in the field of communications. In the 14th-annual competition, judges examined over 8500 entries. Orbit received 4 Awards of Distinction for print and website work in 2008. Honored projects included Rhythmlink, Bettinardi, and Austin-Lehman Adventures.

Re: Design Contest
November 2007 - In the premier Re: Design Contest from Dynamic Graphics magazine, judges selected 13 top redesigns from a pool of hundreds. October 2007 - The International Davey Awards honor the creative excellence of small agencies like Orbit. Members of the International Academy of the Visual Arts judged over 4,000 entries for this competition. OMS garnered a Silver Davey Award for creation of the Rhythmlink logo.

Society of Typographic Arts: Archive '07
October 2007 - The Society of Typographic Arts (STA) instated the prestigious Archive Awards to promote awareness and appreciation of design in Chicago and the Midwest. Orbit won an Archive '07 Award for our own identity. Our winning entry will permanently remain in the Society's archive - a collection that showcases the breadth of the STA's 80-year history.chicagodesignarchive.org
W3 Awards
October 2007 - Sanctioned by the International Academy of Visual Arts, the W3 Awards honor outstanding Web work. According to the W3 site, this is the first major Web competition accessible to "the biggest agencies, the smallest firms, and everyone in between. Orbit won a Silver W3 Award in the area of charitable organization/nonprofit for the Chicago Foundation for Education site.
Communicator Awards
August 2007 - The Communicator Awards honor creative excellence in the field of communications. With over 8,000 entries from firms of all sizes, this is one of the largest competitions of its kind in the world. Print and identity projects for Advanced Dermatology and Orbit�s own identity garnered three Awards of Distinction and one Honorable Mention in the 13th annual Communicator Awards.
Apex Awards
May 2007 - Sponsored by the editors of Writing that Works, the Apex Awards for Publication Excellence recognize notable achievements in the fields of communications and publication. In 2006, Orbit developed a commemorative African safari video for executives at Griffith Labs; the piece later won an Award of Excellence in the 19th annual Apex competition.apexawards.com
