Dr. Shana Kelley and her team made the transition from Toronto to Chicago to continue their development of technologies that combat diseases and promote health at Northwestern. That merger inspired the need for a new website to better reflect the incredible work Dr. Kelley and her team are working on.
A partnership with a University comes with brand guidelines that might come off as restrictions, but for our team, it was an opportunity to show that a minimal website can be effective. With elements like bold imagery and subtle animation of icons, our designer was able to add compelling elements that showcased the story, people, and work behind Northwestern University Kelley Laboratory.
