Orbit Media is an award-winning web design and development company based in the Ravenswood neighborhood of Chicago. But, you can work from anywhere. This can be a remote position.
Since 2001, we’ve been designing and building beautiful, audience-centric, optimized websites for a huge variety of clients in nearly every industry. We’re proud to be one of the first Illinois B Corps with deep roots in our community. We have fun and do great work. And we’d love for you to be a part of it.
Developing websites! There’s a bit more to it than that, but really, that’s the job.
Our developers work with a team to build websites. They focus on coding functionality and styles to match designs, creating results-driven, user-friendly websites that are easy to manage.
They take designs and build the styles and content blocks for all the unique features on the website. They build integrations to send and receive content to achieve the marketing objectives on their projects. They collaborate with project managers, designers, and content entry teams. On some projects, they apply designs in a page builder theme.
Our developers put a strong focus on content management, functionality, usability, and accessibility on all projects. They work closely with their project teams on this stuff and utilize the other developers for inspiration, feedback and refinement. We’re a collaborative bunch.
Developers at Orbit aren’t focused on one niche of a website, they are the driving force behind it.
