The 2019 Chicago Cause Winner
The Connections for Abused Women and their Children is Chicago’s oldest and largest center for abused women. With multiple shelters, educational facilities, legal work, and more, the CAWC helps women escape dangerous situations and elevate themselves. The work they do makes lives better for women and children in dangerous situations, and we were proud that they were the 2019 Chicago Cause winners.
Their site was designed to help women find a way out, and take control over their lives. It featured clear paths to shelters, along with educational material on how to recognize abuse and tips for finding their way out. By promoting CAWC as the leaders in this field, the new site can help raise their profile, and shine brighter their beacon of hope.
In providing a completely new website, Orbit and our partners helped expand the reach of CAWC, so that they can reach the lives of more women and their children. We’re honored and humbled to work with such brave, selfless people. We’re honored to be able to play a small part in their mission.
