Mo Burns

Mo is a Conversion Copywriter at Orbit with nearly a decade of writing experience. Before joining Orbit, Mo sharpened his skills by writing creative copy and content for brands and start-ups. His talent lies in using language and storytelling to help brands effectively communicate their message and reach their target audience.

He earned his BS in English and Communications from Southeast Missouri State University. He’s also spent more than he would like to admit studying improv comedy at institutions like the Annoyance and the Second City Theaters. He is passionate about comedy, loves to laugh, and, in his free time, regularly performs improv, sketch, and stand-up throughout Chicago’s comedy scene.

Originally from St. Louis, MO, he lives in Chicago, where he’s a fan of the White Sox and the Bulls. Though he hasn’t played basketball competitively in years, on his best days, he still believes he has what it takes to make the roster.
