Pharamacannis has a mission: to make the buying of medicinal and recreational marijuana friendly, fun, and light. Too many medical facilities are hidden, but Pharamacannis believes it is a vital part of health and wellness. Their website had to be a part of this philosophy.
The challenges in building it were filtering people based on state, since different states have different laws, and then their nearest location. We had to build in a 21+ filter that also immediately brought in the state filter so that one click got the visitor where they needed to be. A huge catalog of products had to be easy to look through so that anyone could find what they were looking for.
A “Get a Card” feature helped visitors who weren’t sure if they qualified. This was all in line with Pharmacannis’s goal of making medical marijuana accessible for everyone.
This goal had to take into account the many visitors who were unsure of their purchase path, and even less sure of the terminology. This is an educational site, making visitors feel comfortable and empowering them with the knowledge they need to improve their health and wellness.
