DVD/CD-ROM

Beyond interactivity, there is a universe of DVD video. Chicago has many video design and production resources, making this a great place to produce a DVD.

DVD production involves many of the same creative and technical skills as other forms of multimedia, but the tools and playback methods aren't the same. Designing something to display on a TV requires careful planning and the use of certain color, size and timing parameters. DVD production also involves creating the interactive menu, the addition of special features and the creation of a master for the duplication house.
