Outside of tinkering with Linux and programming, Jason loves exploring the city of Chicago with his wife, Jackie, and newborn son, Jonah. He also spends free time shopping for colleges for his teenage daughter. When time allows, he and his wife love to go globetrotting, but he would be happy spending his days in Paris if possible. When money allows, he will splurge and buy a new turntable or tonearm for his little vintage stereo collection.
Jason has lived all over the country, up and down the east and west coast, as well as the southwest and in Germany for two years while in the service. He started his degree in programming but ended up finishing it in Anthropology from the University of South Florida. After all that time, he still had a passion for computers, linux, and programming. Jason still fondly recalls staying after school to program on the first computer he touched, a Tandy TRS-80.
