Jason came to Orbit as a project manager after working with organizations like Obama for America and Apple in a wide range of roles from trainer to web producer. He is passionate about human-first project management, which allows him to avoid pitfalls and create happy designers and developers. Happy geeks write happy code, and happy code makes happy websites. Jason also gives presentations on his project management philosophy to groups in the Chicago area and beyond.
An Indiana native, he's been in Chicago since 2008. Free time is spent with his piano, his dog, writing short stories, and planning his future vacations. Jason studied music composition and theory at Butler University and Old Dominion University and is currently studying Anthropology at DePaul here in Chicago. He also became certified to be a nuclear reactor operator, but trust him, it's not as interesting as it sounds.
